Pricing & Contracts

Guide Prices:
Half-day - 4hrs (to include set-up): £600
Full-day - 8hrs (to include set-up): £900
Both full and half-days include supply of low resolution, watermarked, partially processed files for selection and approval of favoured final images. After which balancing, adjusting and post processing of the chosen files will be done. Delivery of high resolution images will be via disk, USB or web transfer. Any additional retouching will be charged at my hourly rate (see below).

Hourly Rate: £100
The hourly rate is exactly that, a rate for every hour that I work on your project including: meetings, research, set-up, the photoshoot, any post processing, retouching and supply of images.

For bigger or smaller projects, the above guide prices might not apply, so please get in touch to discuss your needs and I will supply you with a quote for approval.

Each project will be different and the time it will take to complete will be dependent on what is needed and briefed, so please get in touch to discuss your needs and I will supply you with an idea of time needed and a quote for approval.

Contractual Information
Richard Sudbury Creative will need to be briefed and everything agreed to in full prior to the commencement date of any work. This will need to include:

1. Description of Work.
Job title.
Purpose for images.
Number of images.
Subject matter.
Image style.
File format required.
Size required.
Colour space required.
Any other technical specifications required.

2. Deadlines and Dates.
The date for work to be carried out.
The deadline for delivery of low resolution watermarked images for approval, prior to full post-processing.
The deadline for delivery of final full resolution, un-watermarked images.
Cancellation of a booked photoshoot may incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the quoted price.

3. Grant of Rights. 
Upon receipt of full payment, Richard Sudbury Creative will grant to the client full rights to the work as it is supplied.

4. Reservation of Rights. 
Richard Sudbury Creative will be able to use any created images for his own portfolio, after a date agreed with the client.

5. Fee. 
The client agrees to pay the following:
The full figure for completed work as quoted and agreed to, prior to commencement of any work.
Any expenses (travel, hotels, subsistence) as quoted and agreed to, prior to commencement of any work.

6. Additional Usage. 
If the client wishes to make any additional use of the work, the client agrees to seek permission from me and make such payments as are agreed to between the parties at that time.

7. Alteration. 
The client shall not make or permit any alterations, whether by adding, changing or removing material from the supplied work, without permission from myself. Alterations shall be deemed to include the addition of any illustrations, photographs, sound, text, or computerised effects.

8. Payment. 
The client agrees to pay, in full, Richard Sudbury Creative within fourteen days of the date of billing, which shall be dated as the date of delivery of any work. Overdue payments shall be subject to interest charges of 8% over base rate per month - Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

9. Ownership.
Ownership of the work shall remain with Richard Sudbury Creative, until the client has paid Richard Sudbury Creative in full. Once payment has been received ownership will be transferred to the client.

10. Samples. 
The client shall provide Richard Sudbury Creative with samples of the final use of any work.

11. Copyright Notice. 
Copyright notice in the name of Richard Sudbury Creative need not accompany any work when it is reproduced, once payment has been received in full, unless agreed to prior to the commencement of work.

12. Credit. 
Credit in the name of Richard Sudbury Creative need not accompany any work when it is reproduced, once payment has been received in full, unless agreed to prior to the commencement of work.

13. Releases. 
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Richard Sudbury Creative against any and all claims, costs, and expenses, including attorney's fees, due to uses for which no release was requested, uses which exceed the uses allowed pursuant to a release, or uses based on alterations not allowed pursuant to Paragraph 7.

14. Arbitration. 
All disputes arising under this Agreement shall be submitted to binding arbitration. Judgement upon the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
